Tansmigration:
We were a few weeks late for the main season of transmigration for wildebeest
in this area. I (Meg) was really happy to see this even though just a tail
end of it. Wildebeests and Zebras can be seen all around us as
far as I could see. Zebras guide Wildebeests to trasmigrate with their good eyesight.
They live together in a symbiotic relationship.
I was wondering how far we
were seeing in terms of
New York City size. Am I seeing as far as Bronx or New Jersey? Actually
we had no idea what kind of measurement or comparison could be applied to
an African land expanse. Because of sublime vastness of the land and the
number of Wildebeest I had to stop taking pictures. I thought no picture
could show the scale of this transmigration.
