What a treasure of a website! It is so personal and meaningful. Both of you are so creative and in so many different ways. The website is a reflection of how you live your lives and how much you care about art and people. It is inspiring!

Aloha Bruce,
I am a professor of entomology at the University of Hawaii, USA. Am currently working on a non-profit guide to aphids in Hawaii (all of which are exotic, invasive species).
Was wondering if i might use your photo of Tuberolachnus salignus (the brown-legged aphid on the Wild About Britain site) in the guide.....
Thank you for your consideration,
Russell Messing

Thank you so much people, I am a kenyan and I know how needy and vulnerable the Aids victims and orphans are in the society.I happen to have visited the school in person and I was amazed how your team has put so much effort to attain this level of progress! This is surely a wonderful work of philanthropy at the highest. keep it up and may the almighty God bless each and every contributor to the project.

Dear MB,
Great site. I like the idea of inmates as artists. Art heals.
You may like David Rothenberg's radio show on Saturday mornings at 8:30, WBAI 99.5 FM. He does a lot for the Fortune Society, helping incarcerated and recently released prisoners.
I hope you both are well, great>
Peace, Ken Thomas | ||

celery root gratin sounds great. I'll try it soon. I make a puree of fennel and parsnip. Boiled seperatly in a minimal amount of water and a little salt until soft mash if liquid is needed I use the fennel water, which I may have reduced if there is a lot. taste for salt add butter if needed. This is yummy especialy with fish. See you soon. amanda

Hello,
My friend Christoph and I met you the other night at the restaurant in the East Village, but never properly introduced ourselves. It was very nice chatting with you both. Who knows, maybe we'll meet again...
Best regards,

Hi,Bruce and Meg:
Your pictures are awsome!!!! Great photography. It seems that between the five of us, we managed to get only one picture each of the rain-shy (read: cowardly) lion. Seeing your photos made us feel as if we had gone back again to that spectacular place. Now, guys, how about Tanzania???
Wishing you both, and Nancy, a very happy holiday season, and keep up the good work. Ismena and Al

Hello Meg and Bruce:
Just randomly tapped into your website after a couple of months abscence (due to construction work!). Your shots of Kenya reminded Tomiyo and I of our trips there in the 80's and why we love the place. You have some great shots- especially of the zebras rear ends in the grass.
| Miriam 2005-03-21 07:46:19 | ||
GREAT!! is a really intense experience visit your site and admire the photos ... it is almost like being with you both! Mi piacciono molto tutti i disegni (anche se non so quali sono di Meg e quali di Bruce), le sculture di Bruce, e trovo davvero esplosive le terracotte di Meg! BRAVI. Baci, a presto. Miriam
| gloonie 2005-02-09 10:27:39 | ||
Great start to the Kenya addition! Donkets, especially. We did notice that no pictures were of WORK, though :-)
| Arthur and Alison 2005-02-07 20:14:28 | ||
What a wonderful trip through our shared memories! Your photos are beautiful and the story you have told is full of the flavor of how you experienced our Kenyan experience! Turkeys! Maize! The van group with Gichuki! We hope those who read about Crossroads Springs and the orphan children will feel moved to contribute to their well-being. Thank you for this great website! We'll try to send some photos from the work project and the children.

Dear Bruce and Meg -
Happy New Year!!! We've been searching your web site for quite a while -- finally, we saw it again, today. However, we cannot access any of your beautiful photos. Is there a problem?
In any event, we hope all of you are doing very well and that Bruce's Mom, Nancy, had a great time in New York with you. We remember that the last time we saw you was in the Amsterdam airport.
All we can say is that we were extremely lucky to meet with you and spend time with you during our safari. We could not have asked for anyone nicer and we learned so much from all of you about birds, plants, and photography.
Al and I had a 10-day trip booked to Phuket, followed by 4 nights in Bangkok, starting January 25, 2005. Obviously, due to this horrific tragedy, it went by the wayside. However, we were able to save our first and last days of this trip starting in Los Angeles, so we stayed with China Airlines, through Taipei, Taiwan, and are going to Bali.
We wish all of you the best. May all your hopes and dreams come true. Your dreams, beliefs and aspirations have our support. We became very fond of you during our discovery of a new continent together. Our best to you and yours. Please drop us a note if you have a chance. Fondly, Ismena and Al
