Lunch at Rachel’s:

On September 11, we were invited for lunch at Rachel’s house. Rachel Majani is a head teacher at the school, supervising and providing on-site mentoring to 2-3 classroom teachers.

She served us her special ugali made of finger millet and maize along with other Kenyan delights. That was good! After the meal while we were conversing, a chicken came into the living room clucking. Rachel made it clear we didn’t have her chicks for lunch. And after the lunch as always we had so many photo shootings.
