Jami Masjid:
The mosque was buit in 1568 to honor
Sufi holy man, Sheikh Salim Chishti. Buland Darwaza (Great Gate) is 54m (180 feet)
high and is scaled by an impressive flight of steps. The Tomb of Sheikh Salim
Chishti was originally crafted in red sandstone and later faced in marble.
The mosque remains in use to this date. Many Sufis visits for festivals and
women come to prey for offspring.
